The beauty of our lives is knowing the steadfast love of God in Christ; he’s risen and living in our hearts, even on most days when we barely get a glimpse! Great post!
One of your best posts ever, Randy! With all honesty, I can say that I have had only 2 or 3 palpably experiences with the Holy Spirit. When those experiences occurred, I was struck to the core of my being. You are spot-on. The Spirit will make Himself known on his own terms. Still, I wonder why we Christians don't have more encounters with the Holy Spirit. He indwells each one of us. I suppose if such encounters were common-place, they wouldn't be as meaningful. Here is where your baseball analogy was SO GOOD. Those quotes nailed the comparison between baseball and the Holy Spirit. Well done, sir!
Thanks, Bob. Yes, I wonder what you wonder. But maybe our eyes are simply not open. I've wondered that. Or that we have a kind of spiritual deafness that we do not hear his whispers, only his shouts.

Thanks, Chuck.
Thanks, Randy. I guess then, this begs the question: “Will there be baseball in the New Heavens and New Earth?”

I completely agree with you Bob!
