This past weekend I had the privilege of hosting the second annual Off-Script Kids retreat. It was, as it has been before, such a joy. Thank you to those who committed time and resources to make this weekend happen. And thanks to all of you who came together to share your stories in a context of hope and grace.

While it was gratifying to see words like ‘comforting,’ ‘encouraging,’ and even ‘beautiful’ appear on the evaluations, the suggestions for moving forward were particularly helpful. Among other things, all seemed to agree that to achieve the right balance of content, reflection, and community, the three day format is still best.

I can’t wait to incorporate all that we’ve learned into the next retreat which is scheduled for October 24-26, 2025, again at the wonderfully accommodating San Pedro Spiritual Development Center in Winter Park, Florida.
